He is a portly figure, seen by insiders busily meandering in the corridors of All India Radio at Vijayawada. With a little forward stoop he marches on unmindful of surroundings, looking neither to the left nor to the right, singing softly to himself. And when you see him sprawled in his cane chair in front of the idiot-box at his residence-- you will hardly realise that yon are in the presence of a great musical virtuoso.
