Krishnamohan in sponsoring the Bhadrachala Ramadasa songs. The efficient compering by T.A. Venkateswaran added colour to the function. It was a momentous occasion for Nedunuri and his sishya-s who had taken great pains to organise a function of this magnitude. The only point of regret was the pathetic attendance by Chennai musicians and rasika-s. Heavy rains were a deterrent on the first two days. The third day, however, was bright and sunny when the main function of honouring Nedunuri took place. But for a handful of musicians, the music fraternity was conspicuous by its absence. Malladi Brothers’ brief and melodious concert, offered as a tribute to their guru, brought the curtains down on the function.
