Brahma, the ninth chakra, is the mythological reference to the nine time cycles of the universe, each presided over
by one Brahma. They are believed to be the fathers of the human race. As denoted by Venkatamakhi the nine
sages depicted here are: Atri, Angirasa, Bhrigu, Daksha, Kasyapa, Pulaha, Marichi, Vasishta and Pulastya.
