Viswanatha Sahitya Akademi

The Viswanatha Sahitya Akademi, Guntur, established in 2017, conferred the 2025 Nagarathnamma Puraskaram on the Thiruvaiyyaru Brothers (Vidwans S. Narasimhan and S. Venkatesan) for their exemplary service to Carnatic music and Melattur Bhagavata Mela. The award was presented on 21 February 2025 at Sathguru Tyagaraja Mahal, Thiruvaiyyaru, in the presence of Kalaimamani Nandini Ramani, Kalaimamani S. Kumar, and Koutilya Choudary.
