Sasvatam 2025

Sasvatam 2025, organised by Sasvatam captivated
audiences at The Bhavan, London.
Bavithra Sivayokam, Co-founder of Sasvatam introduced the
vision and purpose of the organisation.
A special highlight of the evening was the felicitation
ceremony, which honoured artists. The title ‘Kala Poshaka’ was awarded
to Kalamandalam Barbara Vijayakumar and Kalamandalam Vijayakumar
and ‘Extraordinary Service Award’ was presented to Mattur Nandakumara MBE.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Sasvatam’s founder,
Jeyanthy Yogharajah, who expressed sincere appreciation to all performers,
guests, volunteers, and supporters. As a fitting finale, it was announced that
Sasvatam’s next major events will take place in Colombo and Jaffna, Sri
Lanka, in August 2025.
Sasvatam is not just an artistic platform, but a growing
movement that consistently contributes to charitable causes, particularly in
support of underprivileged children in India and Sri Lanka. This year, a
portion of the event’s proceeds will sponsor the Arangetram of three
students in Jaffna, scheduled for 9th August 2025 at the Indian Cultural
Centre, Jaffna.
