Bhakti Margam – A Naatya Presentation

Bengaluru-based Geethanjali School of Naatya presented a group Bharatanatyam performance as a tribute to The Dhananjayans. The event took place on 23 November 2024 at the TEACH Auditorium, SPASN campus, Taramani, which provided a divine setting with excellent lighting and audio facilities.
Geetha Ananthanarayan, an early alumna of Bharatakalanjali, Chennai, was felicitated by her Naatyaacharyas in the presence of distinguished personalities such as Savitri Jagannatha Rao, V.R. Devika, and Pushkala Gopal, along with other well-known connoisseurs of Naatyam.
The evening featured an exquisite repertoire that highlighted both the rhythmic and expressive elements of Bharatanatyam. Led by Samana Raghavendra and Sangeetha Ananthanarayan, the performance included compositions in various ragams and talams, with commendable contributions from Swathi G. Mathad, Srushti Padiwal, Varsha M.S., Manyatha S. Maiya, and Amulya Srinivas.
The programme was a heartfelt presentation to The Dhananjayans, celebrating the rich tradition of Bharatanatyam.
