The Chennai launch of Swapna Sundari’s Agama Bharatam was held in July at the Art Kin Centre, in collaboration with Kanagasabai School of Bharatanatyam. The book codifies ancient dance systems of Indian temples that pertain to the agama sastras. A video presentation documenting her research across various temples of India was screened followed by a spontaneous demonstration of the Navasandhi, as codified by the author, by Kuchipudi dancer, D. Dilip.

Art Kin Centre's co-founder, Shruthe Raammohan, in conversation with Swapna Sundari discussed the inspiration and drive, and the need for putting together different texts in a comprehensive manner.

The event was well-attended by artists and connoisseurs of the field.
