P.C. Ramakrishna

P.C. Ramakrishna is a theatre actor and a communications professional based in Chennai, long associated with The Madras Players, the oldest English theatre group in India, as an actor and administrator. He served as its president for two decades and has acted in scores of its theatrical productions since 1969.Ramakrishna has been instrumental in shifting the focus of English theatre in the South to Indian writing in original English or in translation/ adaptation. He recently directed Water, in translation from Komal Swaminathan's Tamil play Thanneer Thanneer. Ramakrishna is a professional voice-over artist, who has lent his voice to documentaries, corporate films, children's talking books, and heritage films. He is one of the most recorded English language voices in India today.
