S. Kalyanaraman & K. Siva Prasad: Whistling In The Open

There's the story of a young lad who
used to whistle a lot, puckering his
lips, sucking in air and pushing it out
artfully. Whistle a happy tune or ten and
sometimes a sorrowful melody too. His
grandma, loving though she was,
frowned on this habit, saying it just
wasn't done. Until one evening when
she inquired: "You are whistling music,
aren't you ?" and told him to go whistle
all he wanted. That lad, writing this
story, never did go far with it.
