The Rasika Ranjani Sabha Foundation held its Annual Awards Function on 23 November at their Sundareswarar Hall. The evening honoured leading artistes from the fields of music and dance in recognition of their contribution to the arts.

Chairman A.R. Santhanakrishnan delivered the welcome address and the Director of the Foundation, Aruna Prabha Ranganathan felicitated the awardees. The function was presided by violinist Padma Vibhushan L. Subramaniam and Kumar Vembu, Founder and CEO of Gofrugal Technologies as the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour respectively. 

A.K.C. Natarajan was conferred the Kala Sagara Ratna, while Gayathri Venkatraghavan received the Kala Ratna award. The title of Nritya Kala Ratna was presented to Sailaja, and R. Kannan was recognized with the Kala Seva Ratna. Celebrating emerging talent, the Sabha awarded Shreya Devnath the Yuva Kala Ratna and Harinie Jeevitha the Nritya Yuva Kala Ratna, marking an evening that applauded artistic excellence across generations.
