Veena Maestros Iyer Brothers Honoured with Medal of the Order of Australia

The Indian Consul General honoured acclaimed Veena maestros, the Iyer Brothers — Mr. Ramnath S. Iyer and Mr. Gopinath S. Iyer — following their receipt of the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) 2025. The award recognises their outstanding contributions to promoting Indian classical music in Australia.

At the meeting, held in the presence of Mr. Vasu Srinivasan, Managing Director of Sarayu Australia, the Consul General commended the brothers for their dedication to preserving and sharing India’s rich cultural heritage and for strengthening people-to-people ties between India and Australia.
