Subscription and Cancellation

 

Subscriptions

 

Sruti Magazine offers different types of subscriptions (“Subscriptions”) including, for example, subscriptions to print issues of Sruti (“Print Subscriptions”), access to Digital Applications (“Digital Subscriptions” and online reading) and Digital subscriptions through a third party service provider – Magzter Digital Pvt Ltd and Gift Subscriptions.

 

Sruti will try to process your Subscription promptly and your subscription will be activated after 72 hours from the time the payment has been successfully verified by the Bank. We are a registered magazine, Registered with the Registrar of Newspapers of India under No. 69945/94. Regd No. TN/CH/©/298/15-17. Licensed to post without prepayment under License number TN/PMG(CCR)/WPP-142/2015-2017. Our date of publication is 1st of every month and posted on the 5th of every month.

 

Delivery and Shipping policy with logistic partner name and TAT (Turn Around Time)

Our delivery timelines are 2-3 weeks from the date of posting. We post all our magazines through India Post. For customers opting for courier deliveries, upon paying the delivery charges, we use The Professional Courier to deliver our products.

 

 

Cancellation

 

Subscription Cancellation Policy

 

Unless specifically stated in any Subscription offer or promotion when you place your Subscription order, you have the right to cancel your Subscription at any time. However, you will lose your right to a refund in relation to any issues that have been published or delivered before you cancelled. All refunds will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, for each issue delivered. Sruti will refund the balance amount available in your account as books or digital downloads, as per your choice and not in monetary terms.

 

Sruti is not responsible for any cancellations or refunds made through Magzter Digital Pvt Ltd for Digital subscriptions purchased directly through them.

 

Gift Subscriptions

 

Sruti allows Subscriptions to be purchased as gifts. The person responsible for payments and fees is the person who initially purchased the gift Subscription and only that person may receive any refunds or other payments that may be due in respect of the gift Subscription as per our cancelation and refund policy. Apart from that, these Terms will apply to the beneficiary of any gift Subscription, who may therefore use the Site and access any Sruti Content only in accordance with these Terms, and all references to “your” or “you” (other than in relation to renewal, payment, fees, refunds and cancellations) shall be read as references to the beneficiary of the gift Subscription.

Refunds

 

Refund of Subscriptions and books can be made in full if intimated within 48 hours from the time the order has been made. After which, we will follow our subscription cancellation policy.

 

All products purchased on www.sruti.com as digital downloads are not returnable and are not entitled to any refunds.

 

Replacement policy

 

Sruti takes utmost care in the packaging and transportation of the magazines. Sruti is not responsible for any lost in transit of goods by India Post or the third party delivery company. For such instances, where the product has not reached the customer, we offer a free replacement, if the complaint is made on or before 30th of the calendar month of publication. Complaints received after 30th of the publishing month, only postage charges will be debited, and the subscriber will not be charged the issue cost. This will be debited from the customers subscription account after the consent of the subscriber. Further to this, if a subscriber sends us a complaint beyond 2 months from the date of Publication, both issue cost and postage will have to borne by the subscriber, if  the subscriber wants the replacement copy, this again will only be done if the consent is given by the subscriber. If no consent is given to debit the subscription account for sending the replacement copy, then the replacement copy will not be sent.

 

In the event of the product getting damaged in a natural calamity, Sruti will provide a free replacement upon receiving a complaint from the customer within 30 days of receipt of such a complaint. .

 

If a digital download is faulty and the customer encounters an error at the time of downloading or after downloading, Sruti will email a copy of the digital book to the customer.

 

 

Fees and Payments

 

You are responsible for any fees that are payable including any processing or other fees charged by the issuing bank/payment provider.

 

The price to be paid for your Subscription will be made clear to you on the Subscription order pages or otherwise during the order process and may vary from time to time. You agree to pay the fees at the rates notified to you at the time you purchase your Subscription together with any processing or other associated fees charged by the issuing bank/payment gateway provider. Eligibility for any discounts is ascertained at the time you subscribe and cannot be changed during the term of your Subscription. We will always inform you in advance of any increase in the price of your Subscription and offer you an opportunity to cancel it if you do not wish to pay the new price.

You are responsible for the payment of all charges associated with the use, by you or someone else, of the Site and/or a Digital Application using your login ID.

If any Subscription is terminated by Sruti, you will be entitled to receive a refund of such sums equivalent to the cost of the magazine for the period for which you will not receive the   magazine post termination or  in respect of any other services  which remain unused at the time of termination unless such use is terminated because you are in breach of these Terms (which will be determined solely by Sruti). You will continue to be responsible for any fees or other charges you have incurred prior to such termination.

You may be from our site  purchase products or services from Sruti’s third party partners (such as Magzter Digital Pvt Ltd) for digital subscriptions or mobile application downloads. In that event, your contract for such products will be with the third party partner and not with Sruti.

You may also note that, We do not accept or entertain any pecuniary compensa­tion for coverage of events or publishing features on artists/events in Sruti. Please do not entertain such requests. Inform us immediately at sruti.magazine@gmail.com
